In Tete Jaune we started early – once more we would loose one hour during the day on our way to the southwest (BC is MEZ -9 / Alberta MEZ -8). We entered the impressive Jasper NP followed by the Banff NP. We saw even more glaciers, but have shown so many photos that we have chosen Athabasca Falls as picture for this post.
Of course, we once more were overwhelmed by Bow Lake – we were here already in 2005 – the color of the water is simply beautiful.
In Calgary we stayed two nights, so we had enough time to visit the city in detail. We strongly recommend taking the elevator up to the viewing platform of the Calgary Tower, which elevates you 600 ft. above ground level.
Calgary is a little
like Frankfurt – the city has the same size, is also a finance center, fast
growing, international, modern and dynamic.
Abends hatten wir einen Tisch im Ironwood Stage and Grill gebucht. Es
gab Livemusik: "Over the Moon"For dinner we had booked a table in Ironwood Stage and Grill. We could listen to live Music: "Over the Moon"
